About

Originally established by The Duchy as a meeting place for local farm workers, it became a facility for the whole parish in 1956. Today, managed and run entirely by volunteers, there are facilities to play darts, pool, snooker, cricket and football, besides regular activities for the community such as quiz nights.

The club premises was originally a three storey property which was the General Village Stores, and sold everything imaginable. The top two floors were removed and the ground floor was converted into the club, with extensions added to the side and rear of the building.
